Outlaws Hire Kevin Leonard as Head Coach

9/8/08 (Flower Mound, TX) – Texas Outlaws Soccer has agreed to terms with Kevin Leonard to be the Head Coach for the team’s inaugural season in the Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL-Pro).

“Kevin brings an enormous amount coaching and playing experience to the Outlaws.  He has been extremely successful coaching at the youth level in the Dallas / Ft Worth area, and we are excited about his visions and aspirations for leading this team and bringing championships to the Dallas / Ft Worth area in the PASL-Pro league,”  Eric Danchak, Managing Partner Texas Outlaws.

Kevin has been a full time coach since 1994 and his main desire is to teach and promote the game to any player who is committed to the sport.  Kevin has coached at the collegiate, Semi pro and Youth level. He has been with popular clubs such as the Dallas Texans, and DFW Tejanos. Kevin was the President and Founder of Goal to Goal Soccer Camps and built one of the first true soccer academies in North Texas. He currently has about 40 players who are playing at the collegiate level and has around 20 former players who currently participate in the North Texas ODP and State Team. He has been a leader on and off the field and has taken such leadership roles as Director of Coaching, Academy Director, Vice President, Camp Coordinator and college Program Coordinator for several youth clubs.  Kevin is currently taking on the role as the Director of Coaching and College Coordinator for the Mustangs FC.

The Texas Outlaws are a first year team in the new Professional Arena Soccer League.  The Outlaws will be playing a 16 game season with 8 home games, which will be played at NYTEX Sports Centre in North Richland Hills, TX.  The Outlaws first home game will be played on November 16^th, 2008 against the Saskatoon Accelerators.
